The house is lovely and the view is wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked, and there were games, puzzles, videos and corn hole and a pool table. Lots of fun for all ages. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and especially loved the fire pit. Laura is a helpful and responosive host. |

We had a very enjoyable stay with lots of laughter and good conversation with family members. The view of the lake from the dock was amazing. We had several older ladies and we had to drive them up to the campfire for the evening we made smores. The driveway was an experience like being on a roller coaster and you thought you were going to drive into the house. Overall a great stay and would recommend the house to anyone. Laura was great to work with and very prompt on getting information to us. |

We enjoyed our stay. House was well stocked, a nice welcome kit was provided, and owner was very responsive to questions. House had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend with family and was a convenient boat ride to nearby marina. The nearby community boat ramp was also very convenient. Dock had a beautiful sunrise view with mist on the lake. |

We just returned from an amazing week at SML. Our group included 6 adults and 4 children, and the house had plenty of space for us alll The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need during your stay. Because we knew about having the wash the bedding before we left, we decided to bring some of our own sheets along so we wouldn't be pressed for time when we checked out on Saturday. This wasn't a problem at all. The fact we had to dispose of our own garbage to a collection site was an inconvenince, but doable. The steps to the lake were a bit of a workout . . . for us seniors (lol) but the rest of them didn't complain and felt they were getting exercise during their vacation. We hope to come back soon. |

There were some minor issues at first. I contacted the owner and it was addressed immediately, none of the issues affected our stay as we had a great time. Our daughter and son and spouses were there and we had my niece and her family there who now live in Ecuador. Good time for all. |

This was our first year renting on SML and we loved it! We had 10 adults and felt like the hoseu had plenty of room for all of us. The extra fridge in the basement definitely was clutch. The house was very clean, nice layout, well stocked, and amazing views. The dock is nice and large so there's room for everyone to hang out or swim around. The owner provided all the necessary information and always in a reasonable amount of time. Would definitely rent this house again. |

This was our first trip to SML and we truly enjoyed it! The house was spacious and the view of the lake was amazing! Plenty of TVs so the kids and adults could have separate viewings in the evenings which was a plus! Location on the lake was great and convenient to the Marina/Bait shop and "land" shopping. Fishing from the on-site dock provided HOURS of entertainment for the older kids. The fire pit was very well done and had plenty of seating for the crew - it was a huge hit! We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit SML again! |

Unwind & Reel 'em Inn is an immaculate home with modern comforts, amenities, tasteful decor, and a spectacular view of Smith Mountain Lake. My family and I were very pleased with our stay. It was tranquil, peaceful and restorative, and Laura was very responsive to our communications providing detailed information about the property and nearby attractions like Peaks of Otter and hiking trails. We'd definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a quiet, restful getaway. |
